As much as Hazel enjoyed the convenience of being able to send things by post in the castle, sometimes she had to wonder if the owls were being stopped and searched by the professors or the ministry or by someone. She'd heard of people doing that a few decades back and she couldn't help but be paranoid about such a thing on occasion, especially when she technically wasn't up to no good. She was, after all, her mothers daughter, and that meant that most of the time she wasn't up to any good. Contraband items were just something that interested her and hey, who could deny the fact that they sold well within the school? Certainly not Hazel who had more than her fair share of proof of just how well they did sell. It was for this reason that she sometimes needed to find an alternative means of post, because after all, they certainly couldn't pin something on her if she was receiving it in the mail, at least not like they could if she was caught sending an order out for what she planned to sell.
<p>
Hogsmeade visits were truly perfect for such orders and so after ditching her friends (with the promise of meeting up at a later time), Hazel made her way towards the little post office in town. Once inside the somewhat dark building she pulled the parchment and quill she'd stashed in her purse out and set to work on her order. The first item of business was basic enough, she just wanted another stash of firewhiskey, something that was easier to just have sent along than to try and buy in the village. The second item, however, wasn't quite as simple. It was a somewhat rare root that she needed in order to make a rather popular potion that was quite useful as a hallucinogen. It wasn't something that Hazel herself was fond of using, but it sold and she'd gotten a reputation for having the stuff on hand, and that was a reputation she intended to keep. Business was business and she wasn't the kind of person to let her customers down, regardless of what they were buying. Once she'd finished writing out the list for her order, she was quick to tie it to the leg of an owl that had flown down and send it on it's way before making her own way to the counter to pay for the bird she'd just used.

It was kind of funny how you could spend so long in the same place and still find new things to amaze yourself with. Hazel had been wandering around the castle (because really, what else was there better to do on a Saturday morning after a sleep in?) for a few hours now when she'd found herself in the Amour Gallery, a place that she didn't really tend to spend all that much time in, yet a place that she'd been enough times to know it existed. It was the kind of place that she admired and yet found a little dull after the first visit or two, because nothing really ever changed except for the occasional clang of the armour when someone bumped into it. Today, however, she decided that she might as well spend a bit of time here since she hadn't visited in so long, plus it was quiet today, with no one else in there other than herself.
<p>
Hazel found herself paying particular attention to the suits of armour for a change, mostly for something to do while she was in there, taking note of the little differences between them such as different scuffs or variations in design. It was while she was doing this that she came across a significantly smaller suit of armour, one that she'd miraculously never noticed before now. She was shocked by the discovery, wondering how in all her years here she'd managed to miss such a thing. It was strange, and very alarming that someone so small could even need a suit of armour, and she soon lost herself in pondering all the different reasons that they might. Completely lost in her own world of wars and battles, she couldn't help but startle slightly at the sound of something banging around behind her after ten minutes of straight pondering.

Hazel was quite a fan of the Whomping Willow funnily enough. She didn't know what it was, but something about the brutal tree had caught her attention within weeks of arriving at Hogwarts and she just loved it now. Of course she wasn't one of those people who felt the need to try and get as close as possible to it or the kind who threw things at it to get the reaction they wanted, she was just happy to sit on whichever side of it was providing the most shade and enjoy the view. It was a fascinating tree when it was being left alone and she found it quite enjoyable to watch as it swayed happily in the breeze, occasionally being interrupted by a bird or something that it would take a swat at before going back to what it had previously been doing. How anyone could feel the need to provoke it rather than sitting there and learning something from it was beyond her, but that was kids for you, she supposed.
<p>
Today she was pushing all those horrid little people from her mind though and instead Hazel had plopped herself down out of the tree's reach, getting comfortable before she set herself up for the task she'd decided to do outside since it was so nice out. Sometimes she found herself slightly disorganised or otherwise in a little over her head with her orders. It wasn't that she was delayed in getting what people wanted, but Hazel was delayed within her own system. She liked to keep a coded record of what she'd sold individual customers so that she had some kind of reference should it ever be needed. This took time and between getting the orders in, handing them out and then still having time for her schooling, she often fell behind in her record keeping and so today she'd decided to dedicate an hour or two towards getting that section of her business back into order, then she'd be free to enjoy the rest of the day however she pleased.
